Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd, trading as the Australian Landscape Conference (ALC), reserves the right to:
Delegates must wear their name badge at all times during the Conference.
All cancellations must be advised in writing by email to the Australian Landscape Conference.
A refund of 50% of the Conference registration fee will be provided for cancellations received prior to 10 December 2026. After this date, no refunds or credit notes will be available.
A refund of 50% of the cost of a garden tour will be provided for cancellations received prior to 10 December 2026.
After this date, no refunds or credit notes will be available unless the ticket can be purchased by another participant. The transfer or exchange of garden tour tickets is managed by Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd.
Refunds will be returned using the same payment method as the original payment.
A refund of 50% of the workshop registration fee will be provided for cancellations received prior to 10 January 2027.
After this date, no refunds or credit notes will be available unless the ticket can be purchased by another participant. The transfer or exchange of workshop tickets is managed by Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd.
Conference registrations may be transferred to another person free of charge up to and including 10 March 2027. Any transfer must be advised in writing by email to the Australian Landscape Conference.
Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd may cancel, postpone or otherwise modify the Conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including a Force Majeure Event. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, accident, breakdown of property or infrastructure, changes in law, pandemics, epidemics or other global or public health crises.
Due to the nature of the event, it may be necessary to postpone the Conference to a later date or year and/or change the Conference location.
If the Conference is unable to proceed as an in-person event and is instead delivered in a virtual format, your registration will be transferred to an equivalent virtual registration. If you choose not to attend the virtual Conference, Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd will not be required to refund any part of the Conference registration fee, although it may do so at its discretion.
If the Conference is postponed and, when requested, you advise that you are willing to attend the rescheduled Conference, your registration will be transferred to the rescheduled event. The organiser will endeavour to maintain the same registration conditions and equivalent registration entitlements, subject to reasonable modifications, availability and any changes required for the rescheduled event.
If, after agreeing to attend the rescheduled Conference, you subsequently choose not to attend, Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd will not be required to refund any part of the Conference registration fee.
In the event of a full cancellation of the Conference, you will be entitled to a refund of 75% of the Conference registration fee received.
The maximum liability of Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd under these Terms and Conditions is limited to the applicable refund of the Conference registration fee and any garden tour or workshop fees paid (if reserved). Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd accepts no liability for travel costs, accommodation costs, visa costs, insurance costs or any other associated costs or expenses incurred by a delegate.
All Conference participants are required to comply with the relevant health and safety requirements, guidelines and protocols implemented by the Conference venue and organisers.
Participants must comply with all applicable Commonwealth and state government health and safety requirements and any reasonable directions issued by the Conference organisers or venue.
The health and safety of attendees is a priority for the Australian Landscape Conference.
Delegates who are unwell or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness are requested not to attend the Conference and should notify the Australian Landscape Conference as soon as possible.
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Conference, you must notify the Australian Landscape Conference in writing by email at info@outlandishventures.au. A partial refund may be provided at the discretion of the ALC Organising Committee. Delegates may be asked to provide reasonable evidence, such as a medical certificate.
Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel, health and cancellation insurance before attending the Conference.
Conference registration fees do not include travel, health, cancellation or other insurance coverage. The Australian Landscape Conference accepts no responsibility for losses or costs that may be covered by such insurance.
All Conference registration fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST at the applicable rate, currently 10%.
By registering for and attending the Conference, participants acknowledge and consent to their image, likeness and/or voice being photographed, filmed or otherwise recorded during the Conference by or on behalf of the Australian Landscape Conference.
Such recordings may be used, reproduced, distributed or published by the Australian Landscape Conference for promotional, educational, archival and other Conference-related purposes, at the discretion of the ALC.
If you do not wish to be photographed, filmed or recorded, you must formally advise the Australian Landscape Conference in writing by email at info@outlandishventures.au by 1 March 2027. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests, the Conference cannot guarantee that incidental recording will not occur.
If you interact with Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd as a client or participant, personal information about you may be collected and held for the primary purpose of providing information and services relating to the Australian Landscape Conference, including registration, administration, communications and other Conference-related activities.
We collect, use and manage personal information in accordance with our privacy policy and applicable privacy legislation.
By registering for the Conference, you acknowledge that your personal information may be disclosed to relevant authorities where required or permitted by law, including where reasonably necessary to comply with public health, safety, regulatory or other government requirements.

The Australian Landscape Conference reserves the right to amend the Conference program, including session times, speakers, venues and program content. Every effort will be made to maximise the delegate experience.
The Australian Landscape Conference also reserves the right to vary quoted prices where required as a result of a change to the legislated rate of GST or other applicable taxes or government charges. Unless otherwise stated, all prices quoted are inclusive of GST.
Force Majeure Event means any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Outlandish Ventures Pty Ltd that prevents, delays or materially affects the ability to hold or deliver the Conference, including any of the following:
Loss means any damage, liability (whether actual, contingent or prospective), action, loss, charge, cost or expense.
Registration Fee means the fee payable for a Conference registration as set out in the applicable registration form.
Delegate means a person who has registered to attend the Conference.
Conference means the Australian Landscape Conference scheduled to take place on 11 March 2027, together with any associated tours, workshops and other activities forming part of the Conference program.
