How to be a Garden Detective

Presented by Tim Richardson.

The workshop, ‘How to be a Garden Detective’ offers a unique opportunity to learn from the acclaimed author Tim Richardson, one of the world’s most experienced garden writers. Tim has published 28 books about gardens, including specific designers, garden history and other topics. Tim is a regular contributor to Gardens Illustrated, and a former writer for Country Life, The Idler, House and Garden and Wallpaper. He was also the co-founder of the Chelsea Fringe Festival.

This workshop is for both the professional designer and amateur garden lover who wants to delve into the ideas behind the design. It will include case studies of specific gardens including printouts of maps and plans and Tim will work through concepts and examples on how to analyse and interpret various designs.
